10. Crashed B-29
Game: Fallout: New Vegas Wrecked vehicles can be found scattered all around the Mojave Wasteland, mainly in the form of nuclear-powered cars. Hidden at the bottom of one of the games lakes though, is a far more impressive piece of machinery. A relatively whole Boeing B-29 Superfortress can be found on the floor of Lake Mead, just by Callville Bay. Thanks to the plane being somewhat intact, its possible to team up with the Boomers and surface the flying machine to be re-assembled. After doing this, news reports will begin to appear on Radio New Vegas claiming that people have seen a huge object or creature rising out of the water, giving it the nickname of The Lake Mead Monster. Interestingly, this hidden wreck is actually a reference to a B-29 that crashed into the real Lake Mead in 1948, during atmospheric research.
