2. Way More Dialogue Choices
One of the best things about doing the whole 'blank slate protagonist' approach is it puts the most focus on the sections where you're being addressed directly through conversation or on-mission. So far, although there have been tens of thousands of lines of dialogue written and recorded for the Fallout titles, when you consider the variety of people you meet and the things you're asked to do - the right response isn't always available. Most of the time it boils down to a binary choice of "Yes sir!" or "Go to hell!", and chances are that's not how you would react in this situation to people you've just met. Factor in the potential to join clans/factions across your journey and let those be bonus options, as well as stacking quests with a certain button that essentially tells the character "I'll get round to it" without ruining your reputation, and it solves the issue of being randomly approached to do things you probably didn't want to in the first place.
