Fallout 4: 10 Best Fan-Demands That Must Be Included

10. Joinable Guilds/Crews

Developers Rockstar always cross-pollinate their games with mechanics from each other - things like the corner mini-map, layout of missions, open-world design etc. - and so should Bethesda, as the Elder Scrolls' Guilds provide the perfect way to go off on your own and experience a unique set of side-missions away from the main thread. They could range from everything including bounty hunters or vigilantes to Dark Brotherhood-style assassins and thieves. Either way it would be a perfect way to expand your action and influence in the world, giving your no-name Wanderer a sense of purpose outside of whatever your initial driving force will be. Yes, New Vegas had you align with one of the overarching factions of the world, but overall it wasn't very impactful or rewarding when it came to giving you specific items, quests or equipment afterwards. Furthermore, in many respects Fallout 3 had the same problem that would later show up in Mass Effect 3; giving you a solid purpose right off the bat that in many ways dissuades you from exploring. It pegged you as an intrepid adventurer searching for your father, whereas ME 3 opened with the world getting destroyed by the alien Reaper invasion - neither of these allowed for you to spend a whole lot of a time enjoying side-quests, and for a world the size of Fallout's that's something that can be easily fixed.
