Fallout 4: 10 Best Fan-Demands That Must Be Included

5. Smarter A.I.

This goes hand-in-hand with a cleaner and less-buggy experience, as occasionally your A.I. companions would simply get stuck on the world's geometry, refuse to move from their quest marker, disappear through the floor - or just not appear whatsoever. Afterwards when you did get past this you were subjected to buggy firing patterns and a completely unreliable approach to tackling enemies, essentially turning whatever you were doing into an escort mission. It wasn't remotely fun, and when your teammates wouldn't be able to back you up by hitting an enemy a few feet in front of them - leaving you to get killed in the process - it was infuriating. Naturally, having a 'drop-in' co-op option would solve this immediately, as would greater control over your squad like positioning them in specific places, equipping specific load-outs etc. pre-battle, essentially letting you tackle larger group encounters Mass Effect-style. Whether team-management is as robust as that or simply left to the A.I.'s own devices, it can only get better.
