Fallout 4: 10 Craziest Fan-Demands That Won't Be Included

5. Old Characters Returning

Needless to say one of the biggest characters in the world of Fallout is the wasteland itself - it's rather like Bioshock in that regard, there's just so much to take in through a gorgeously-realised art aesthetic that experiencing the world right in front of you is as entertaining as meeting an enigmatic character on your travels. That being said though, if there was one thing sorely missing from Fallout 3's overall length, it was a consistently-high level of memorable characters. Some of the best the series has to offer come from the earlier games - like The Master, for example - and although he/it was born on a 2D plain, can you imagine how awesome he'd look in all his next-gen glory? However when Bethesda acquired the Fallout franchise they remixed the inner workings of it for a much larger audience, essentially only carrying over the world themes and general aesthetic needed to 'reboot' it whilst applying their own spin. Going forward it's highly unlikely they're then going to address the swathes of fans they left behind, as a goodwill gesture like that would be something done immediately in part three.
