Fallout 4: 10 Killer E3 Announcements Besthesda Need To Make
8. Greater Property Options
After a long day of reverse-pickpocketing frag grenades into the inventories of unsuspecting NPCs before watching them explode into a meaty paste, every wastelander needs somewhere safe to rest their weary head. And while properties could be obtained in both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, there was little that the player could do to customise their house beyond purchasing some largely pointless decorative additions to make each room look a little less barren. Fallout 4 could certainly benefit from a more diverse and functional range of ways to use and modify property. Bethesda could implement a base-building mechanic so that players could gradually establish their own settlements within the world. Its not as if Bethesda havent already done something similar with Skyrims Hearthfire DLC which allowed players to build a homestead upon purchased land, furnishing and maintaining the property as well as hiring servants to perform various tasks around the house. Sure, it wouldnt be a huge announcement for casual fans of the series, but it would be something for franchise fanatics to get all giddy about.
