Fallout 4: 10 Most Impactful Side-Quests You Need To Find

6. The Secret Of Cabot House

The Secret Of Cabot House nails Fallout's zanier science fiction side to a tee. While residents of the wider Fallout world contend with day-to-day living in an inhospitable wasteland of radiation, raiders and Deathclaws, the Cabot family is living life as if the Great War never happened; residing in the pristine family home that appears untouched by war. If that's not enough in itself to immediately set alarm bells off in your head that something's amiss, events only get weirder when the family's patriarch - Jack Cabot - asks you retrieve a mysterious serum and find his sister Emogene, who, bizarrely, looks old enough to be his mother. As it turns out, the Cabots have actually been alive for many hundreds of years, thanks to a youth serum concocted by the former man of the house, Lorenzo. Poor Lorenzo's gone mad from exposure to a weird artefact found many years prior in an archaeological dig, developing superhuman powers so potent that Jack had to contain him in a cell deep beneath an insane asylum. And yes, as you probably suspected, it's your job to get down there and take him out when raiders break in and set him loose from his cage. Good luck, you're going to need it.
