Fallout 4: 10 Things That Would Make It Better For Newcomers

3. Far Better Graphics

It goes without saying that Bethesda will be making the most of the new console hardware alongside the plethora of graphics cards that have been released in the last seven years, but it has to extend everywhere from character models to the world itself and everything in between. Too many people judge games based straight off their graphical prowess, and as much as this shouldn't be the norm, in terms of artistic direction it's possible the team don't want to portray the brown n' dusty world of Fallout in exactly the same way as Skyrim, but in its own way the Wasteland should remain a beautiful place. When you emerge from the Vault and breathe in what's in front of you it's clear you're supposed to remember that image in a purely picturesque sense - an idea that can help engrain a title in the mind when done well. This has been a Bethesda staple across all their open-world games since Oblivion, and for those gamers who judge any product purely on its ability to drop jaws with a gorgeously-textured vista, Fallout 4 has to look like the next generation of open world game design all over again.
