Fallout 4: 10 Things We Can't Wait To See

2. Whether Multiplayer Is In Or Out

Now there's a dividing sentiment; playing Fallout in multiplayer. Where do you stand on it? Nearly every game these days has some awkward-feeling multiplayer component crowbarred in for the sake of extending replayability and tapping into the online arena, but needless to say the pace and explorative nature of Fallout doesn't lend itself to constant chatter or anything close to matchmaking. Maybe you could get away with a Dark Souls-style warp in/warp out affair where you invade (or get invaded by) other players out in the middle of nowhere, with them spawning at train stations or inside buildings for brief but impactful encounters? It's most likely not going to be something they include, but many PC mods have proven it can be great fun too - so the jury's out on the final verdict until (hopefully) June.
