6. The New Game Engine
Something fans will be able to tell right off the bat if it's a major improvement or more of the same, is any gameplay footage of the new engine in action running smoothly for a few minutes. Needless to say Bethesda's lofty world-building ambitions often outweigh their reach, and in the end things like frame rate, graphical glitches and general animation have taken a hit for the sake of the size and scope of everything else on offer. For some that's a major put-off, with others reconciling to it just giving their games more... 'identity' in one way or the other. Either way when we get some eyes on the new Fallout in-motion, it's going to be a jaw-dropper one way or the other.
