There's not much to be said here for fear of going into spoiler territory, but thankfully critics were respectful and made almost no references to how the game ends other than a general, vague response to it. Several noted a disappointment with how things wrapped up: "the resulting cutscene wasnt as tailored an epilogue to my adventure as previous" (IGN) and "as world shifting as the events you enact potentially are, they're dampened by the abruptness of the conclusion" (PC Gamer). The end was still commended for not being closed-off like in Fallout 3, allowing the player to continue to explore the world long after the core story wraps up, but it sounds like the conclusion is set to be divisive with fans. We'll just have to wait and see...
