Fallout 4: 12 Incredible PC Mods That Make It Even Better

1. Enhanced Wasteland Preset

(Link to Download) The complete opposite to the mod €˜Stalker Lightning€™ mentioned earlier on this list, €˜Enhanced Wasteland Preset€™ helps turn Fallout 4 into a carnival of bright lights and vibrant colours. Though tonally it doesn€™t make much sense for a post-apocalyptic wasteland to be vivid and colourful, it does make for a nice change of pace. The mod (created by Razed), acts as a ReShade/SweetFX that helps make the visuals of the game pop on screen, clearing up the image and making the game look less washed out. As you can see below, the results can be quite stunning.
One of the biggest problems with Fallout 4 for me, was just how little it had improved upon earlier iterations. The game€™s a lot of fun, but it doesn€™t look or play particularly better than Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. In fact, in some places it€™s actually a lot worse. Sure, there€™s been some improvement, but I couldn€™t help but feel a little let down at times. Thankfully, there are plenty of mods out there that fix many of the glaring issues, and €˜Enhanced Wasteland Preset€™ is one of the best examples.
