1. Official Mod Support - Game Auto-Duplicates Your Save Beforehand
The biggest news so far is that Bethesda are going to support modded content with official modding tools; effectively putting their own coding department in competition with the public. A glitch made itself known? Patch it. New armour sets need refining or a section of the world not detailed enough? They can grant access for that too. Apparently Fallout 4 will auto-duplicate your save when you access anything with modded content inside, so if some unforeseen bug occurs and it all wipes, you're only as far back as your last 'proper' save. This feature is announced for both Xbox One and PC, with the idea being to bring it to PS4 at some point in the future. This is unprecedented for such a large scale game, and should paint an interesting future when we get to see what the might of the modding community can produce, versus how Bethesda will implement everything afterwards. Are there any new features I missed out? Which are you looking forward to most? Let us know in the comments!
