Fallout 4: 14 Brand New Features You Need To Know About

7. Stealth Is A Far More Viable Playstyle

Taken from the recent, forever-analysed interview in Official Xbox Magazine, rather than focus entirely on the V.A.T.S refinements or overall combat enhancements, a small throwaway comment caught my eye:
"And of course, stealth, crunching melee hits and non-violence are still entirely viable"
I don't know about you, but I've always thought of Fallout's combat options as favouring the likes of V.A.T.S or more up-front gunplay, rather than anything that lets you avoid combat or analyse situations from a stealthier perspective. The option to crouch down and try and get around your enemies for killing blows was in there, but with any luck, time will tell if this time round it actually feels like a 'proper' way to play.
