Fallout 4: 14 Brand New Features You Need To Know About
8. Highly Modified Creation Game Engine - WAY Less Bugs & Glitches
Usually you wouldn't make a point about how glitchy something isn't going to be, but pretty much every major release of 2014 and 2015 would tell you different. However, it's not a new trend, glitches and bugs have been abounding in Bethesda's games for years; Skyrim's appeal being so strong it managed to surpass it, but still being the main stickler in anything they put out. To remedy that, the team have used the newest tech on the market to really flesh out their environments and in-world physics engines, going so far as to mention 'hardcore' programming terms like 'volumetric lighting' in their reveal and PR. So far there's not been a single instance of anyone getting time with the game then coming away and mentioning how it retains any kind of signature 'Bethesda jank', and that's extremely refreshing and positive to hear.
