Fallout 4: 15 Ultimate Wishlist Features It Must Have
3. A Whole New World
It almost goes without saying that Fallout 4 will have to create a new world for us to explore; Fallout 3 showed us the East coast for the first time in Fallout history, while New Vegas showed a fascinating vision of Nevada. The question is where can they go next? Many have suggested a return to California, the scene of the original Fallout games, which would of course be fine, but the more interesting choice would be going somewhere completely new, where we have not been before. New York City is the answer to this particular issue: the city has never been depicted in Fallout, and actually is not mentioned in passing very often at all. The only reference of note is of a "hot-summer", a nuclear systems overload, which effectively means that there is a blank canvas for the designers to work with, combining elements of the Fallout universe with real world New York would be intriguing. Seeing the remnants of the Empire State Building, the United Nations or the Statue of Liberty ravaged by nuclear fallout, war and time would be brilliant.
