Fallout 4: 8 Reasons The Leaked Memo Is A Hoax

1. Someone Has Admitted Faking It

Naturally someone has crawled out of the woodwork and proclaimed that they were the creator of this. In an exclusive article with Kotaku, a person simply calling himself €œJesse€ admitted creating the memo€ the reason in his own words were, €œI do it all just because I personally find it entertaining, got to do something to keep the boredom away.€ This seems to be his only motivation as he also claims that he doesn€™t earn any money doing it. He at least admits not coming up with Survivor2299 (someone else already did) but he€™s also proclaimed to have created fake rumours for games like Dead Rising 3 and Watch Dogs. Jesse even gave Kotaku a look at a Watch Dogs 2 rumour he had already written up but ultimately decided not to use. But here€™s the kicker€ could Jesse himself be fake? It wouldn€™t be massively difficult to re-create an already fake memo and the real creator could yet still be out there. But needless to say, whoever created this must be very proud of their achievement as it must have resulted in the effect that they were looking for. The memo was picked up by a number of online gaming portals and Bethesda as always say nothing about rumours €“ so no denial, just more hype. No doubt the person is already cooking up yet another bogus rumour as you read this, and there€™s no doubt that everyone will fall for it yet again€ if only for a few minutes. So there you are, eight reasons why you should ignore that terrible memo. But what do you think of it and the spate of other so called "authentic" rumours being revealed about Fallout 4 in the recent weeks and months? Let us know below!
