Fallout 4: 8 Whiny ‘Fan’ Complaints That Won’t Be Addressed
God forbid you modernise your game in 2015.
How thoroughly spoilt have we all become by the exponential growth of the game industry over the last 30 years, that when they finally stop to take a breath or refine some initially phenomenal ideas, everyone declares it tantamount to creative bankruptcy? Case in point, Fallout 4. Bethesda creative director Todd Howard finally emerged at 2015's E3 to a rapturous applause, demoing a thoroughly spectacular-looking new instalment in the franchise to an audience of millions. The studio appeared to have taken on board every piece of feedback possible from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and from the overhauled animations to a game engine that looked to make the first-person shooting as tight and enjoyable as possible, it was one hell of a resounding, jaw-dropping success. Oh but... but the graphics weren't necessarily completely mind-blowing, and didn't have the visual clout of The Witcher 3 or Batman: Arkham Knight. As if that matters, when the game itself will most likely be the most expansive and feature-filled RPG of all time. Come the latest release of more footage nothing has changed, as it truly feels like some fans are grasping at straws to find things to moan about, this Millennial culture of hating on everything truly starting to run its course. Bethesda have a proven track-record, and it's time to address these nonsensical 'issues' head-on, as it looks as though Fallout 4 will be one hell of an achievement any way you look at it. Quite simply, the studio don't need to waste their time kowtowing to a bunch of deluded purists.
