Fallout 4: 9 Insane Character Builds You Need To Try

5. The Iron Man

When you're wandering around in a suit, or raider leathers, or other ordinary togs on a daily basis, you can function just like any other wasteland inhabitant, but there's just something missing from your own sense of self-completion.

It's only when you step into a suit of Power Armour that you truly shine - turning into a walking tank that's powerful enough to be the scourge or the saviour of the wasteland. It's your choice, because you have the power. To fulfil this fantasy, pour plenty of points into Intelligence so you can unlock Nuclear Physicist, making you far more efficient with the Fusion Cores required to fuel that metallic power-prison that you're so dependent on.

Science will also come in handy for making higher-level power armour mods. Equally important is Strength, which contains the Heavy Gunner perk (because if you wear power armour, you need the accompanying heavy weapons to not look like a fool). Finally, the Pain Train perk lives up to its name by giving you a devastating sprint attack when you're wearing power armour.

Essential SPECIAL stats: 10 Strength, 3 Endurance, 9 Intelligence Essential perks: Nuclear Physicist, Science! Heavy Gunner, Pain Train, Armorer, Blacksmith, Tougness, Life Giver
