Fallout 4: 9 Insane Character Builds You Need To Try

6. The Sharpshooter

Patience is your key to survival, as you scope out your targets from a long distance, suss out their numbers, and monitor their movement patterns before striking with brutal, single-shot precision from your hiding spot.

A few shots later, and your targets are lying on the ground with the heads turned into a splattering of juicy giblets. With most of your your life's expertise before you went into the vault dedicated to sniping (in the Resource Wars, let's just say), you rely on your stealth skills when in close quarters with the enemy, and try to avoid direct combat whenever possible. The single most important stat is Perception, so you can channel points into the Rifleman and Sniper perks.

These combine brilliantly with Agility, which contains Sneak and Ninja - making you deadly from hidden positions. Sniping can be quite costly on Action Points, so offset this with the Action Boy/Girl perk and Quick Hands.

Particularly snipe-friendly is the 5th level of Sneak (gained at lvl. 38), which makes faraway enemies forget about you you as soon as you engage Stealth. Throw a few points into Luck as well to boost those critical hits, and get Grim Reaper's Sprint, which has a chance of restoring all your Action Points.

Essential starting SPECIAL stats: 8 Perception, 8 Agility, 8 Luck Essential perks: Ninja, Quick Hands, Action Boy/Girl, Sneak
