Fallout 4: 9 Insane Character Builds You Need To Try

3. The Melee Meat Head

Envision a character called Gumbo, or Bull. He's got the strength of a super mutant and the intelligence of one too, leading to speculation that maybe his mother or father may indeed have been one, subjecting the human parent to the, erm, rough end of the bargain (though who knows, maybe the human parent just had a very progressive attitude towards cross-species breeding?).

Whatever the case, no one dares say anything to your face because you have fists like anvils and can crack heads like eggs with your bare hands. You'll need plenty of Strength for this, with a focus on the Big Leagues and Iron Fist perks to make you a master of melee, as well as Rooted to make you particularly lethal when standing still.

On the Agility side of things, make sure to get Blitz and Moving Target, which will make you better at closing the distance on your enemies. A few points in Endurance will also grant you the Toughness and Life Giver perks to make you more durable.

And, if you want to play the 'half-super mutant' angle, then later in the game give yourself the Cannibal perk too, which lets you restore health by eating corpses (you can't carry them around in meat bags, unfortunately).

Essential SPECIAL stats: 9 Strength, 9 Agility, 3 Endurance Essential perks: Big Leagues, Iron Fist, Rooted, Moving Target, Blitz, Toughness, Life Giver
