Fallout 4: 9 Insane Character Builds You Need To Try

2. The 'Settling Down' Type

Maybe exploring the wasteland for you is just a means to an end for your new character, or maybe you've spent so much time in combat with your first build that you want to just to 'settle down' this time round... if you catch my drift.

This build is focused on gathering huge amounts of resources and taking them back to your settlement for scrapping, and ultimately building up your settlement.

For this, you'll need a decent amount of Strength to get the Strong Back perk and carry plenty with becoming over-burdened. If you're focusing on settlement-building, then Charisma is a must as that grants you the Local Leader perk, which you can use to build ever-important supply lines between your settlements, helping the smaller ones expand. At Level 14, this'll also let you build stores in your settlements.

You should also focus on Scrapper to find precious building components more quickly With a little bit of Luck, you'll get the Scrounger and Fortune Finder perks, which will greatly up your ability to find precious loot in the wasteland. Distribute the rest of your starting stats so you can handle yourself to a basic level in the wasteland, and you're ready to go about creating your settlement empire!

Essential SPECIAL stats: 6 Strength, 2 Luck, 6 Charisma, 5 Intelligence Essential perks: Strong Back, Local Leader, Science!, Fortune Finder, Scrounger, Cap Collector, Scrapper.
