Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC - 7 Things You Totally Missed
A Fallout and WWE crossover is the best thing you never thought you needed.
It's been a few months since the release of Fallout 4's latest DLC, Far Harbor, and the game's biggest piece of post-release content yet has proved to be more than a handful for completionists. Which is no surprise, really; one of the largest expansions Bethesda has ever crafted, Far Harbor is packed with exciting new content that fans are still sifting through long after it first hit the marketplace.
Yet, while most players have probably ran into the majority of the brand new creepy-crawlies and picked up most of the loot while they were blasting their way through the lengthy main campaign, the expansion is still home to plenty of secrets and hidden easter eggs that you probably missed on your first playthrough.
While some fan theories and excavations are still ongoing (the hunt for Fallout 4's fabled Ghoul Shark will seemingly never end), players have discovered a wealth of content that could easily be missed if you're only focusing on sweeping up all the main quests.
From secret bosses to incredible movie references, a return trip to Far Harbor is essential for anyone wanting to see everything that the latest expansion has to offer.
7. The Treasure Of Cranberry Island
Although there's plenty of places you need to explore in Far Harbor, the one that will aid you the most is also unhelpfully one of the most well-hidden. However, if you make your way to Cranberry Island Docks, you can initiate a secret treasure hunt that will lead you to a safe-house crammed with resources and supplies.
Once you've cleared out all the enemies around the dock, a quick rummage through the buildings should result in you finding Eliza's journal and a secret map that plans out your route around the location. The story found in these scattered journals is worth seeking out too while you're in the area, however it's the contents of the map that are of the most interest.
What you should do next is follow the directions on the note to repair the generators around Cranberry Island and flip the switch to turn them on, all the while keeping an eye on the wires overhead to make sure you stay on the right track. Once you're done, head down to the previously locked house near Cranberry Island Bog to pick up the key to a supply shed that's located even further south.
Once you've jumped through these hoops and fended off the resistance along the way (including some particularly haunting ghouls that take on more relevance if you've been following the journal entries), you'll be able to find the supply room and a great haul of well-deserved loot inside.
