This first trailer actually didn't feature much of the game's protagonist, but instead invested more time in showing off the presumed sidekick, a lovely canine who has already earned the affectionate nickname "Dogmeat 2.0" from Fallout fans. Though the dog fur looks distinctly last-gen and some of the walking animations are pretty wonky, millions have already fallen in love with the animal. Whatever his name, he's pretty much already destined to become one of gaming's most memorable companions, even if one can't escape the feeling that he might end up getting killed off in a highly emotional moment later in the game.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
