Fallout 5 Wishlist: 8 Rumours We Want To Come True

Regardless of whether we're getting a true sequel or a spin-off next though, one thing's for sure: the next Fallout game won't be dropping on this generation of consoles.

For the foreseeable future the company has enough Fallout related releases to focus on to see them through to the end of this console cycle. Because not only are Bethesda preparing to drop the VR version of Fallout 4 in the coming months, but there's also rumours of a remastered collection of both the third game and New Vegas hitting PS4 and Xbox One at some point in the future.

Consequently there's no rush for a brand new Fallout at the moment, and with Bethesda's new game lined up for the tail-end of this generation, there's simply no room to squeeze in another huge release before Sony and Microsoft's machines are shown the door.
