Fallout 76: 10 Reasons It Failed
7. It's Too Easy
Fallout games have never been known for their difficulty, but Fallout 76 is laughably easy.
No matter what level you are, you're not going to have a hard time fighting any enemies. Despite the fact that they can be much higher levels than you, they never really pose any kind of threat. The only thing that can get you in Fallout 76 are other players.
The only thing stopping you from going up against these enemies is the fact that you can't use the loot they drop if you aren't the same level as them.
The problem with this is the fact that Fallout 76 never really increases in challenge as the game goes on. The only thing that poses any kind of challenge or interest is getting nuclear codes, and even then that's only because of how many steps it takes.
If the missions are boring and the enemies are easy, all you're really left with is exploration, and that can't carry the whole game.
