Fallout 76: 10 Take-Aways From Bethesda's E3 Conference

2. The Power Of The Atom

An interesting mechanic shown, one that incorporates player versus player and player versus enemy combat, is that of the nuclear missiles on the map.

From the looks of the gameplay shown, codes must be liberated from the inhabitants (ghouls, raiders etc) that live nearby, and when enough of them are collected, by an individual or group, the nuclear weapons become available.

The missile can be launched wherever on the map you like - although there are likely restrictions. You probably can't level the whole map.

In addition, you can venture into the fallout (similar to the Glowing Sea in Fallout 4) to collect rare resources and meet new, deadlier monsters. Just beware the radiation!

I'm based in the UK, looking to make a career out of writing about entertainment and culture. The only thing I like as much as watching films, playing games or listening to music is enjoying as much hummus and crisps as I can while I do so. My favourite film is Eddie the Eagle and I like any game that lets me wander around beautiful worlds (or eat hummus and crisps).
