Fallout 76: 10 Things You Must Do First
5. Start A Fight With Another Player
Though there's plenty of fun to be had teaming up with your fellow online players, you shouldn't resist the prodding urge to engage in some PVP insanity as soon as you've found yourself a half-decent weapon.
Obviously if you want to give yourself an easier time you can prey on an unsuspecting wanted player and collect their bounty, but if you're feeling a little more honourable, seek out someone who doesn't have a target painted on their back.
In the quest for balance, Bethesda has designed PVP to ensure that your damage is massively nerfed against other players until they start shooting back, and if you kill another player without retaliation you'll be branded a murderer.
Nobody needs that in their life, so find someone willing to throw down and just have at it. Even if you die, you only lose your junk (heh) and maybe get a little ding to your pride, of course.
The game's combat may be rather clunky, but it's certainly more fun battling humans than AI monsters, that's for sure.
