Fallout 76: 8 Mechanics Fallout 4 Ditched That Must Return
1. Visible Weapons
Why Bethesda chose to not have weapons show up on characters when sheathed is a genuine mystery. It may not seem like much, but it probably one of the first things players noticed about Fallout 4 and is somewhat crucial for immersion.
It's a feature that has been in pretty much all their games and adds a small level of realism that is always greatly appreciated. It's cool to have your weapons slung across your shoulder or at your side.
You shouldn't have to pull a Fatman out of god knows where.
At first, people thought it was something to do with the new engine, but modders quickly managed to find a way to implement it to resounding success. It's a small detail and it feels almost petty to bring it up, but please just put it back in the game Bethesda.
