1. There Are Still Conventional RPG Quests And A Story

While the next Fallout is embracing online multiplayer and going down a survival-inspired route, it isn't completely doing away with the franchise staples fans are used to.

Apparently, there'll still be a rich story at the heart of the game, with choices to be made and branching pathways to explore. Likewise, there'll still be quests in the conventional sense, with players taking on missions and exploring the wasteland as they would in any other recent Fallout title.

Essentially, Bethesda are trying to maintain the core ethos of what makes their RPGs so great, while also integrating them into a massive online world where survival is key. Whether they'll be able to pull off such an ambitious goal is yet to be seen, but fans should know how the project is shaping up properly once E3 rolls around.
