Another major detail confirmed from the leak is that, not only is Fallout 76 going to be heavily focused on online gameplay, but it's essentially going to be yet another "games as service" release.

The devs who have worked on the project have already mentioned how the title has constantly shifted and changed, with the plan being that Bethesda will continue to alter what players will be doing long after release.

This seemingly gives credence to the MMO rumours, as Bethesda have already proven that they are dedicated to transforming an online game that stumbled out the gate into a genuinely excellent experience with The Elder Scrolls Online.

It's clear they're taking a similar approach with this title, and even if it's not a major MMO, it will still be taking cues from the genre by giving fans a constantly-transforming world to keep jumping back into.
