Far Cry 3's Guide To Life: 10 Rules To Remember

2. Tattoos Mean You Have Skills

Tattoo

For years the prevailing opinion was that tattoos are a great form of body art, allowing people to permanently ink their flesh with images and text that enhance their bodies either aesthetically or through personal significance. We now know this to be wrong. In reality, the more tattoos you have, the more skills you have. Every time you gain a skill, a tattoo should appear on your body. Passed your driving test? A stylised steering wheel should shortly appear on your forearm. Finally get that Btec in business studies? Expect a generic representation of an Excel spreadsheet to pop up around your wrist. Did you learn how to cook that new pasta dish, because your aunt got you €œNigellissima: Instant Italian Inspiration€ by Nigella Lawson for Christmas? The image of a few pieces of riccioli will soon become visible near your elbow. So next time you see someone with a 90€™s tribal tattoos, don€™t just assume that they were following a fleeting body art trend of the day. That person got those tattoos due to hard-earned skills: whether it was the ability to silently take out two guys with a knife or the ability to use a mounted machine gun for a longer period of time without it overheating.
