For a long time in video games, the yeti has been the elusive Easter egg that people have always searched for, but which rarely existed (you can still find people wandering the wilds of San Andreas to this day). Far Cry 4 bucked the trend by actually featuring a yeti in the DLC, so assuming that all the Far Cry games exist in the same universe (which they generally appear to), we can deduce that yetis could exist in Oros. Which points us to this curious exhibit above. What exactly is it that we're looking at here? In terms of appearance, it kind of looks like a gorilla skull, but what would a gorilla be doing in central Europe, where Oros is supposed to take place? There is evidence connecting gorillas with Europe, but that was millions of years prior to the mesolithic era. Also, why would there be just a single gorilla skull with no other gorillas in the whole region? The decidedly more exciting theory is that this is a yeti skull, though perhaps of a different nature to the Far Cry 4 yeti, which had surprisingly small, white and. crucially, unfanged teeth. Could this be hinting that we'll see some kind of savage giant ape-like creature in a future Far Cry: Primal DLC? Have you found any Far Cry: Primal secrets not listed above?
