6. Learn To Combine & Upgrade Your Primitive Weapons
The bow was a powerful weapon in Far Cry 3 and for many players it became an easy pick to insta-kill several soldiers in rapid succession. This made some fights a little on the easy side. This time around the bow is essentially your only long-range weapon. With no pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles or flamethrowers to hand, (namely because they're yet to be invented) you're forced to get a little creative at times. This makes combat more visceral and thrilling as you know you've not got a magazine of ammunition and three grenades as a contingency, plus your hunting knife should things really go awry. Spears, bows, rudimentary axes and flaming torches are all part of your pre-historic arsenal as you sneak, fight and hunt your way through the land of Oros.
