What Your Favourite Final Fantasy Game Says About You

12. Final Fantasy III

final fantasy iii Final Fantasy II and III are bloody confusing. While they are obviously numbered entries in the series, the fact that Final Fantasy IV was originally released as Final Fantasy II in the west really makes my brain hurt. Nowadays they're all pretty much numbered correctly, and III was recently (well, 2006) remade for the Nintendo DS in its first official release outside of the land of Japan. For many, that would be their first experience with this title. But not you. You love Final Fantasy III in its original form. After poring over teach-yourself-Japanese books and going to lessons for ten years you finally think you're able to grasp what was going on. Until then it was all clicking the buttons and hoping for the best. This means you're dedicated. You're resourceful because you taught yourself how the recurring Final Fantasy job system works without any help whatsoever. It also means you're slightly crackers. Unless you've played this on the DS for the first time of course, but that's cheating.
