10. Hooligans: Storm Over Europe (PC)
Hooligans: Storm Over Europe is an awesome game. It was also a very controversial game when it was first released on PC back in 2002. The premise is simple, become the most notorious group of Hooligans over the course of a football season by any means possible. This means you are going to have to kill every opposing group in your way. The game had some deep strategy elements to it and really rewarded players for playing it strategically. You had some great units in the game as well. The leader was able to use guns and command his troops. You had the Rat which acted as your scout, the Biker who was capable of driving any vehicle and my person favorite, The Raver who was able to distract other units with his gigantic boom box that he carried. One of the games many controversies was that in order to keep your team fueled you had to administer drugs and alcohol to them. You also had to keep your violence level up by any means necessary, whether that was fighting against rival gang, looting grocery stores, or taking out the police. Hooligans: Storm Over Europe is a frantic and interesting game that was both over the top and strategic. At the end of time I will be forever blowing bubbles€and playing Hooligans. So there you have it, TEN football games that are a good alternative to FIFA, PES, and Football Manager.
