FIFA 13: 10 Great Tips For Scoring Goals

7. The Perfect Corner

Scoring from corners used to be a doddle - a gifted deliverer of the ball would fire a ball into the six yard box and a strong centre-forward would head it into the net. Now thanks to an apparent improvement in 'keepers across the board, a decrease in delivery ability and a general muddling of how simple it all should be, set-piece goals are rarer in the modern game than they ever have been. The same goes in FIFA, where trying to score conventional goals from corners is simply not an option thanks to the superhuman defensive abilities of the defenders. The only way to do it is to come up with a set-piece on the training ground that will manipulate the space created by defenders to your players' advantage. Stick your best two strikers on the edge of the box, rather than putting them in the mixer, and pass it out deeper, and you'll find there's an awful lot more space and time to take aim and shoot. And that tends to mean more goals. And here's how to do it in detail - thanks to BYA for this in-depth tutorial... http://youtu.be/fjrYjwCGUFw
