9. Don't Gamble
One-on-ones are for therapists. Don't get sucked into attempting to beat the best 'keepers in the game in such a situation, because EA Sports have made some of them superhuman in their ability to stop shots and it will only lead to frustration if you manage to undo all of your good work in beating the offside trap or running beyond the last line of defence with the ball by letting the 'keeper dive out and smother your inadequate shot. So don't let him: the trick is to bring other players into play square with your run, taking the 'keeper out of the equation and opening the goal to your mercy. It might sound like I'm effectively advising you score Greasy Goals, and maybe I am. But like I said before, it doesn't really matter how you score, as long as they go in.
