FIFA 13: 4 Improvements That Should Be Made To Manager Mode

4. Realistic Manager Mode Option

The current manager mode allows you to choose any club in the world, but would Chelsea or Manchester City really allow some novice to turn up and start spending their cash? There should be two manager mode options; the current one and a second realistic choice where you have to work your way up to the top jobs. Rather than seeing the entire list of clubs immediately available to you, imagine only the second division teams for the major nations and the less successful clubs for the smaller nations accessible. Rather than just taking the Chelsea job you€™d have to spend two seasons with Preston, get Cardiff promoted to the Premier League and win the FA Cup with Everton before Chelsea would even consider you. The finances should also reflect real club circumstances. Everton usually have to sell in order to buy, while AC Milan, usually a club with huge wealth, have had to have some serious cut backs this summer. It means different clubs have different challenges. Some players enjoy being able to create dream teams and that€™s understandable but there should be an option for those of us who want to start at the bottom and work our way up on a realistic budget.
