FIFA 13 Demo: PS3 Users Forced To Wait 12 Hours

EA Sports say it was not their decision to delay the PS3 demo until 10pm tonight at least.

EA Sports may have confirmed the release windows for the FIFA 13 demo, and caused mass excitement - particularly among PC gamers, who now have access to the demo - but PS3 users could be forgiven for being more than a little disgruntled with the release schedule, after the revelation that they will be forced to wait twelve hours or more longer than XBox 360 players with Gold memberships to get their hands on the demo. The Gold membership XBox 360 FIFA 13 demo will be available between 10am and 2pm, but PS3 users will have to wait until at least 10pm for the game's demo to land on the PS Store That delay prompted some angry responses from PS3 users on Twitter, who reacted to their console once again looking like a secondary concern thanks to the later release. But that response brought its own reaction from the game's development team at EA Sports who took to their Twitter account to suggest that it was an internal Playstation decision to wait to release the demo until this evening: From an external position, it seems like an odd decision by the PS Store powers that be to delay the release so long, with so many XBox 360 and PC users able to download and play the demo from this morning, but we patiently await Playstation's response, now that we know where the decision came from. The demo will include Arsenal, Manchester City, Juventus, AC Milan, and Borussia Dortmund as playable teams - for full details head here. Are you excited by the prospect of playing the FIFA 13 demo?
