FIFA 14: 10 EPL Players Who Will Definitely Be Over-Rated

5.Theo Walcott

Team: Arsenal The bias towards speedy players on FIFA is something that some fans without a tight grip on how to defend will no doubt openly hate. Even comparatively unskilled players like Gabriel Obertan - a disaster for most of his time in the black and white of Newcastle - can set the game alight because they are immensely fast, and can control the ball even slightly. Theo Walcott doesn't quite fall into the same bracket as Obertan, since he actually scores goals and can have an impact on how his team plays, but he has been over-powered on FIFA since his earliest days at Arsenal. Because of the game's bias towards speed, Walcott tends to be a darling in-game: he is blisteringly fast, and though in real life that only leads to anything dangerous around 20% of the time (he's surprisingly frustrating to watch for someone so "exciting") in the game he is an attacking behemoth. Because of that speed, it's unlikely that Walcott's rating will drop at all, even if his dribbling skills leave a lot to be desired in real life, and his balance is not quite as line-precise as suggested in previous games. His brilliance is a crushing inevitability, because of how he plays, and there's no getting around that.
