Twelve months is not a long time in football. As a footballer, one year you could be relatively unknown but after an amazing twelve months proving yourself, you could be the next world star and have all the top teams fighting for your signature. The same could be said for the FIFA football game series, one season a player could have a 68 FIFA rating but after an exceptional season, receives a much higher rating when the next edition is released. Here are ten players who, as a result of their improved reputation and season, may have a done enough to convince the EA Sports team to greatly improve their rating in FIFA 2014.
10. Burak Yilmaz
The first player to appear in our list received a high rating of 82 in FIFA 2013. Although it may have only been during the last season that he has become a transfer target for some of Europes biggest football teams, Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz has been a prolific striker throughout most of his career. Prior to joining the Yellow-Reds where he scored 24 goals in 32 appearances last season and was only outscored by Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski in last seasons Champions League campaign, he scored 58 goals in 93 appearances for Trabzonspor. Due to his goal scoring record and links to clubs in bigger leagues than Turkey, we expect Burak Yilmaz to receive a higher rating when the next FIFA is released.
