There was once a time when there would've been uproar about this rating of Eto'o being far too low. Sadly, this would've been back in the days when Liverpool were capable of winning a Champions League title, when you could still light up a cigarette in a bar without fear of incarceration and when Crazy Frog had its mind-numbing run in the UK charts. Though it would be an insult to insinuate that Eto'o isn't one of the greatest strikers ever and perhaps the greatest African player to have kicked a ball, I'm sure even Eto'o wouldn't deny that he's well past his prime. Eto'o used to be a player defined by his blinding pace and killer instinct. This season at Chelsea Eto'o has seemed extremely hesitant (2012/13 Torres-esque) and has lost the speed which once allowed him to embarrass even top-level defenders. It is very difficult to rate a player at 83 who Martin Tyler recently accused of looking "amateurish". Which players do you think deserve a downgrade in FIFA Ultimate Team's january update?
