I'm sure we all remember the days of Fifa 12 when David Villa was rated 89 and was one of the most dynamic players in the game. Two years and a broken tibia later and David Villa isn't the same world beater he was back then, explaining his release from Barcelona at the end of last season. In the past Villa was famed for his ability to strike impeccably with both feet as well as his brilliant attacking positioning. Though this season he has returned to form somewhat having scored 10 goals for Atlético Madrid, his rating of 83 puts him level with Brazillian team mate Diego Costa who has scored an amazing 23 goals in 23 appearances. It seems clear that the powers-that-be at EA cannot unforget his incredible years at Barca and give him a more realistic rating, especially in line with a boost for Diego Costa.
