8. Iker Casillas (Real Madrid) - 86

Not so long ago, Casillas was not only the final line of defence to what was one of the best club teams and the best international side but was also considered to be the world's best goal keeper. Cut to 2014 and Real Madrid have been superseded by Bayern Munich, the Spanish national team are well on the decline and Casillas has been dropped to the bench. Casillas' fall from grace started last season when then-manager Jose Mourinho dropped him to the bench to be replaced by in-form Diego Lopez but this wasn't to be the end of Caillas' ill-fate. This season he hasn't picked up any league starts for his club and has only played 9 times in European and Cup contests, which is a telling indication of his status at the club now. The lofty rating of 86 puts him on par with Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer, and feels like it's based more on past glories than current ability.
