2. The Lag On The Menu Pages

Of course, this problem is only apparent in the "current-gen" version of the game, but boy is it frustrating, particularly for the best mode (career mode). Flicking between the tabs takes long enough, but the team management page actually makes you question the ability and status of your console. Has your PS3 magically been replaced with a Commodore 64? When switching players around the player is forced to manoeuvre as quickly as humanly possible, as pausing even briefly on one player will cause a 5-6 second lag as the system loads his stats. Now, I'm no computer expert, but I don't know how this simple load can take so long, you would thing it is the least CPU intensive process on the game, so clearly the game was asking the console to run through too many superfluous commands to pull up the data, and no shortcuts were enabled to skim through. This problem alone made me want to get a next-gen console just so I could play this game without feeling like I had a ball and chain attached to my controller, which does sound silly, I know. The common sense saved me a bit of money in the end...
