1. Freekick Direction Arrow
I don't know about you but when it comes to taking freekicks in FIFA games these days, I am absolutely horrendous. Row Z, over the stadium roof and into the car park, out of the PS2 and into the Xbox, into a different game entirely, these are just some of the places where my woefully mistimed strikes at goal from a deadball situation have ended up. I miss the days when EA accommodated for freekick novices such as myself by implementing that bendy arrow which showed the ball's flight path toward goal. It made things so much more... Simpler. Now, to purists of the game who have spent valuable time honing the craft of taking a freekick and think that by bringing back the "help arrow" would cheapen the craft of set-pieces, don't worry. Much like the snow, and the hacks and the dives, this could be a feature that can be ticked on or off at a moment's notice in the options menu and not a compulsory feature in FIFA 14. Win win?
What classic features would you like to see return to the FIFA series?
