3. Rafael
Rafael was harshly underrated in last year's FIFA 13. The Manchester United right-back was one of a number of young Red Devils to have been given a rough deal in the ratings, with the likes of Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley and even Jonny Evans being overlooked. But it is Rafael that we are going to look at. In recent seasons, the Brazilian has made the right-back slot his own and has succeeded from Gary Neville almost seamlessly, stepping into the shoes of the legendary fullback following his retirement in 2011. The 23-year-old has matured a lot in recent years and while once he may have lost his head in the heat of battle, now he is a more composed and reliable defender. Now a regular fixture at the back for United, Rafael is expected to keep his right-back spot for years to come and deserves a higher rating than the pitiful 78 awarded to him in FIFA 13. FIFA 13 Rating: 78 Deserved Rating: 82
