3. Goal Celebrations (Are Awful)
Is it just me, or are the goal celebrations absolutely awful in FIFA games? Some of them are passable but the majority of them are actually inappropriate for the situation. Take this as an example - it's the final of the "Champions Cup" (we'll get to that in a moment), Barcelona vs Real Madrid. It's 0-0 and 89 minutes have been played when suddenly, Lionel Messi pops up with a wonder goal from the edge of the penalty area, 1-0! The Champions (ahem, Cup) has surely been won! What magic! What ecstasy! Except, what's this? Why is Messi "doing the robot"?? Celebrations such as these completely defecate all over the moment and totally ruin the occasion. I want the commentators to be going mental, I want the crowd to be screaming their heads off, I've just scored the winning goal, for goodness sake, I want a celebration befitting of the occasion. I think cut-scenes should be brought back for goal celebrations because right now, they're all over the place.
