FIFA 14: 5 Ways EA Can Improve Pro Clubs

1. Design Your Own Kits And Badges

This is something that would add to the immersion of Pro Clubs as being able to design your own kits and badges will make it truly feel like your own football empire. Currently we can choose from hundreds of real life team kits which should be enough to please anyone, but we're gamers who constantly crave more. Donning the kit of a real club is a dream for hardcore fans to live out online but it all feels a bit forced, unsettling and fake as your insert hilarious club name runs about in a Barcelona kit. Sure, there you are in midfield in the famous Barca shirt but you're not playing alongside Iniesta like you dream. Instead you have some ginger ghoul named Rutters who can't decide which foot to kick with. A tool to create your own club identity from scratch would really inject a bout of realism and pride into the games played as you aim to win the match and look damn handsome while doing so. It will bring another side of humour into it to see what people can design and laugh at their feeble attempts compared to your intricate ten layer masterpiece you could see Nike offering you money for. Call of Duty managed it with a simple system for emblems but the community has created some fantastic pieces of art although most of it is detailed genitalia, their efforts are to be applauded. Content creation is all the rage these days with MineCraft, LittleBigPlanet, Trials Evolution and the recently launched GTA V creator all going down well. Let's hope in the near future we are giving our teams a true rounded identity outside of a simple name with another teams kit. That was 5 ways we think EA can improve Pro Clubs.
